Letter R/Rainbow Preschool Theme

Today we talked about the letter R for rainbows!

We visited Starfall's website and did the letter R activities there.

We also did several activities from Confessions of a Homeschooler's letter R rainbow packet.

I found this really cute idea for rainbows and the letter r using Froot Loops.  

My son loves the song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".  One of our favorite versions is from The Piano Guys so we watched their video of it.

It was one of those days where preschool was just not going smoothly.  That's life sometimes, I guess.  Anyway, as a result we only ended up doing two of the focus activities I planned, but I thought I would post my plans anyway.

R is for Rainbow

We did our letter R activities from Confessions of a Homeschooler.  I think that my 3 year old would talk about letters in the alphabet everyday for preschool if it was up to him.  He loves the alphabet!  We had a good time doing rainbow activities!
