Sun Preschool Theme

Today we talked about the sun!

3 Dinosaurs has a letter S pack that is full of sun themed activities.

 We watched some videos about the sun to learn about it and to sing the Mr. Sun song.

Then my son painted a paper plate yellow.

 I had intended for him to make a face on it, but he said he wanted it to look like the regular sun.

Space

My five year old loves outer space, planets, and the whole bit.  It is kind of an abstract topic for young children though.  However, I have come across some great preschool packets that have to do with space and astronauts, and the solar system so today we talked about that.
