Letter Z/Zipper Preschool Theme

Today we talked about the letter Z and zippers!  We started out by watching a Sesame Street video clip.

 Once again most of our activities came from 1+1+1=1's Tot School printables and her Letter Z/Zipper printable Pack.

Here is a fun coloring page to go along with this theme.

 I had a zipper that my son had fun practicing zipping up and unzipping.  After he'd done that many times we cut it into three pieces to make a letter Z like you can see below.

Letter Z/Zebra Preschool Theme

We made it to the Letter Z!  I wasn't sure we would this week with  feeling sick and all, but we did!  My son was super excited to talk about the letter Z and zebras.  We visited Starfall to do the activities for Z.

I thought this was a real cute zebra craft so we did that.  My son had fun painting the stripes on.  This link also has several other zebra and zoo activities.

Y and Z

We did the letter Y last week, but I didn't post about it.  Oops.  :)  Today we talked about the letter Z.  Both weeks we did Confessions of a Homeschoolers activities for each letter and visited http://www.starfall.com/. Next week we will review the alphabet.  I'm not sure what we will do after that as far as the alphabet goes.  Any good ideas out there?
