Today we talked about the letter U and did umbrella activities!
We did several activities from Confesssions of a Homeschooler's Letter U/Umbrella printable pack.
I also found another blogger with great alphabet printable packs. We used a fun book activity from her umbrella pack. My son and I came up with words that have the letter U in them and then he drew pictures. We had visited Starfall and done the letter U activities there so words with u in them were fresh on his brain. Here is a sample of that.
I also came across some Q-Tip painting to practice writing letters.
Then my son painted a paper plate. Once it dried I cut it out in the shape of an umbrella and he glued a handle I had cut out for a little craft.
Here is the finished paper plate umbrella. He was pretending to use it in the rain.
