Today we talked about leaves.
We started off with a little nature walk on the look out for leaves that have turned colors and fallen to the ground. It was a short field trip around the block because my little guy has a pretty bad cough right now, but we had a nice time just the same.
Here is one of many leaves we found while we were out.
Here is a fun fall leaf printable from Preschool Mom. She has an entire collection of leaf activities.
3 Dinosaurs has a fun leaf printable pack.
This Reading Momma also has a leaf printable pack.
2 Teaching Mommie's is another source for a fun leaves theme as well.
Making Learning Fun has some fun leaf and Fall activities like these sequencing cards.
We also have these fun leaf lacing cards that I made a while back.
Mess for Less had a cute idea for using Q-tips to paint Fall leaves onto trees. My tree is pretty sad, but my son did a great job of using the different colors with the Q-Tips.
We also did some leaf rubbings. My son was pretty fascinated by that.
