Today we had a sponge ball fight with our homemade sponge balls. Find instructions on how to make them here.
As you can see, they had a blast and it was a fun way to beat the heat.

Sponge Towers
Today we built towers out of sponges. I found the idea here. I cut up sponges and the boys went to town building and knocking over towers. We also did some patterning and the boys made some letters with them as well. It provided entertainment for quite a while for all 3 of them.
