Letter H/Hearts Preschool Theme

Today we talked about the letter H and hearts!  There are so many great ideas out there surrounding Valentine's Day, hearts, and love so I thought I would break it up by focusing in on the letter H and hearts today and do more valentine stuff tomorrow (although there will be hearts involved with that as well).
File Folder Fun has a heart pattern game that is fun.
Many of the preschool printable packs I used today will also be used tomorrow with different activities.  These activities come from Homeschool Creation's Valentine's Printable Pack and Over the Big Moon's Valentine's Day Pre-K Pack.
These activities are from 2 Teaching Mommies Sweetheart pack.
My son enjoyed using the candy with these printables and answering the questions about them.
These cute heart activities come from Musings of Me's Valentine Unit.
This is a heart matching game I made many years ago and have used every year since.
This is a fun game for counting and number recognition.  I made this a few years ago as well.  The idea came from here.
Then my son practiced cutting out hearts.  I drew a line for him and then let him go to town on the cutting.
He had a lot of fun cutting out hearts and decided he wanted to make his dad one.  I don't think you can see it in the picture very well, but he wrote on it and gave it to his dad.
Finally we made a heart man.  We had a lot of fun putting this together and deciding what hearts to put where. He is now proudly hanging up in our kitchen.
For some more heart ideas you can check out my blog post from 2011.
