Sequence events that happen in the story after I’ve finished telling it using the Little People as a guide
Sing, “Away in a Manager”
Pretend to rock baby Jesus
Sing, “Silent Night”
Go on a hunt around the house looking for baby Jesus- use clip art of baby Jesus
Focus Activities:
Shoe Box Nativity we used the flannel board pieces from here (I put popsicle sticks on the Nativity pieces so that they could play with it)
Christmas Nativity Scene (we used these as little puppets. They would also work with the Shoe Box Nativity activity)

we've been playing with our little people nativity a lot too and comparing it to the characters in the books we are reading. my son loves the animals ;)
