Gathering Time Activities:
- Mystery Item (apple) in a box
- Movement Activity- pretend to plant seed, then a growing tree
- Sing "A Little Appleseed" (sung to Itsy, Bitsy Spider)
Down came the raindrops, falling all around.
Out came the big sun, bright as bright could be
And that little apple seed grew to be an apple tree!"
- sequencing cards- show order then mix up and have children put in order
- Sing "Have You Ever Seen An Apple" (sung to Have You Ever Seen a Lassie)

- Matching red, yellow, green apples- pull out different colored apples from box and match with corresponding apple.
