This year we are going to be doing a letter of the alphabet each week starting with the letter A and working towards Z. This is what I am doing to keep all of our alphabet stuff together and organized. I am not quite finished, but I thought I would share now.
Most of the alphabet stuff I'll be doing with my boys is from Confessions of a Homeschooler. If you have not visited her blog before it is a MUST! Wow, she has some awesome stuff available on her blog.
I got a binder. I am hoping a 2 inch will do, but not so sure at this point. I plan on making a cute cover for it as well.
Then get some plastic page protectors. If you don't have a ton of things, one for each letter should work, if not do as many as you need.Stick all the stuff you need for each letter in a page protector. Here is my letter "D" stuff.
To keep the individual activities together I either use a plastic baggy or a paper clip. (This is Confessions of a Homeschoolers Dino stuff for the letter D, didn't I tell you it's awesome?!)
As you can see I still have a ways to go, but I am optimistic that this method will work well for keeping all of our alphabet activities together.
I love that idea, I printed EVERYTHING as I made it, so I'm not sure it would all fit in a binder like that, but it's a GREAT idea! Thanks for sharing :o) Hope you are having fun!
ReplyDeleteWould you mind if I used one of the pics here for my alphabet organization post? I would link it back to your blog of course, I just really like the idea!

How did this system end up working for you? We will be going through COAH Letter of the week next school year.
